Remember when the 2013 GS 350 F-Sport debuted in 2012? That was hotter than hell!
I'd still love to have a new IS 350 F-Sport in black!
Very few cars can touch it, IMO!
Headlights/taillights look odd on lighter colors though...

I did NOT like the "boomerang" on the grills of the previous generation Acuras. Glad they went away from it. All the new grills are some of the best looking in the business.

Inspired by nature.....didn't think Lexus could make it any larger or worse.

Rumor has it, that the 2020 IS350 will have twin turbos and I saw a few spy shots and if those are how the car will actually look, it will be a top seller. I might even buy another one! No matter what anyone says about any Lexus, no other luxury car maker can compete with their service and reliability. I had an 07 IS350 and currently have a 15 IS350 F-Sport, Super fun to drive and have never had any issues with either car. Just get in and drive and never worry. At the service level, no one can come close, I'm treated like royalty and even the waiting rooms are top notch.

I drove a 2012 IS250 AWD which I thought was perfect! Only needed a little more power!

Well, it's rumored to be a BMW power plant. Which, may mean you get to spend more time in that luxurious service waiting area.

I try to avoid the Lexus service waiting areas. Sure, they're better than your run in the mill GM dealer, but nothing to brag about. I would much rather just take their loaner and get out of there.

I wouldn't even consider a Lexus vehicle because of the atrocious front end styling they have adopted across the entire lineup the last few years. Generally, form follows function for me but I just couldn't live with the looks of a current Lexus no matter how great/reliable they are. And what they have currently is tame compared to the abomination in the OP. Looks like I won't be considering Lexus in the years to come either if that is the direction they are going with the styling.

Three Wheelin'
The new Z4 and Supra share the same engine/transmission.

The Lexus grill reminds me of those toys called transformers with vehicles that bend into robotic monster forms. It looks like the Lexus is in the process of starting that transformation with its grill design. To be fair though, I thought the TL of a few years back with all of its sharp angles looked like a Darth Vader form.

In fact, I think it looks pretty good by todays standard.

Lexus doesn't think so and by the judge of their sales, their targeted market consumers agrees with them.
I am in the same boat with you guys. I think Lexus vehicles are solid and we'll built. It's too bad the front grille is a non starter.
