Whats your impression of this? Looks way too goofy. Reminds me of a transport truck.

Not that bad. Cars are going back to the boxy look, and the headlights kinda resemble the new RL lights..

The new odyessy is fucking awesome.

And it looks soooo much better in person. front end actually looks mean and sporty. profile isnt as sporty as the old one.

Yeah its a minivan......but its a fucking badass minivan. but the touring model is fucking pricey 38K with the V6 thats shuts down 3 cyl at cruise and dvd/navi....only comes tricked out.

(minus the F-words )

I stopped by a local Honda dealership after they closed and checked out an EX Touring that was unlocked. The 05 Ody pretty much blows the last Ody away. For $34G, I'd go for the Non-Touring EX w/ Navi/DVD; and I just may this weekend.

The only downer is that Xenons and 17" wheels arent offered, as with the Sienna XLE and Quest 3.5SE.

05 oddesy

Not sure I like it. Hope it looks better in person.
It also looks like the shift lever is positioned so you have to reach around it to use the climate contros while in drive.
My wire has an 03 and it drives nice for a minivan.

Hmm, painted dash plastic, cheap quality. I would own a Toyota Sienna over it.

Trust me ifris; the new Ody looks MUCH better in person than in pictures. Particularly because it has a more "agressive" stance than the current model.

I think it sorta has to grow on people.

And it seems like the gear selector would be an annoyance if your trying to do anything on the center console.

For those bashing the Odyssey, check it out in person before bothering to type, it equals the Sienna for the interior and from what the reviews say, drives like a heavy sedan rather than a minivan. Combine some refinement and unique features and you have a real winner.

I like this gear selector better than last year's... (with the rolling as you went down in the gears -- weird)

The new one is very much like alot of European vehicles...

Show thought in design... cool...

It looks fine to me. The headlights and that strip in the interior look like RL parts. But this van was the best and may take its crown back.

Well the HONDA min-vans are the most sought after vans out there. They didn't really lose that crown.

Nope. No 17" wheels are offered on any 05 Ody. The Touring gets Michelin Run Flat tires but, they're pretty much the same size as the LX/EX. At $38g fully loaded (Touring), 17" wheels and Xenons should be offered, along with roof rack crossbars (considered an accessory ).
