found geo prizm beater, need quick info
i find this 94 geo prizm(corolla) with 112,000 miles on it.
its def the base model,
automatic 4 cylinder
no power locks, windows or remote trunk release.
the motor has no leaks(that i could see) from underneath.
the exhaust looks brand new, and tires all match.
there are no dents but there are scratches on the trunk lid nothing major.
the hood has rust spots on it, but can be ground down and primered and maybe a hood bra would cover it.
other than that there is no rust or leaks on the car or leaky trunk.
inside is cruddy, nothing a day wouldnt cure.
it was inspected in august.
the motor turned right over and sounds like a typical toyota motor
it purrs
pulls out nicely, the brakes seem to slow it down the way they should, and there is very little vibration at highway speeds.
the only thing i do not like about it, is the tranny is a 3 speed auto.
there is no tach to see how high the rpm's are but they sound high but normal at 75, prob at 3500 rpm
they will get rid of it for 1500 w/tax/taxes out the door price.
pp it goes for 1400 in fair in kbb
is there anything that i should watch out for or be aware of with this car?
i say its a go but with all the knowledge here i figured i would just check
