Just took delivery of my 2021 RDX SHAWD Advance

Impressed with the vehicle so far; fit and finish are better than I expected.
I cannot see any differences between the 2020 and 2021 models.
I have a few disappointments so far:
- I miss the ability to quickly see and select my audio presets (AM/FM/SiriusXM) which I could easily see and scroll through with the 12 allowable presets for each, as I could my previous TLX. This just seems slower and clumsier in the RDX - perhaps I’ve just not figured this out yet.
- The interior courtesy/map lighting for driver, passengers, and cargo area are all simply too dim.
I’ve got a lot to learn about the car, but have already learned much from this forum, and I am thankful for that.
BTW - I assume that most owners know that you can order free hard-copy manuals from owners.acura.com within 6 months of vehicle delivery - see screenshot below.

I use mostly voice to pick my stations. “Play the Beatles Channel”, or “play 100.7 FM” works. Or, I use the left scroll wheel on the steering wheel. I only use the center screen to make favorites in XM or create XM channel mixes.

Congrats. Yes, the full 650+ page OM is required reading, whether in hard copy or pdf form. The car has many features and functions that simply have to be learned.

Congratulations. Let us know the manufacture date from sticker on drivers side door. It will be interesting to see if quality suffers in light of the covid related Labour issues at the plant. According to news Marysville plant using office staff in the plant. Not sure about EL plant.

Thanks for your responses.
Manufacturing date from driver door jam sticker is 7/20 (July 2020).
Only had the car 1.5 days so far and everything looks very good and seems to function properly.

speaking of audio favorites....why can't we simply have a 'Favorite list'..includes any and all sources (FM/AM/SAT)? Audi does it. Why do we have to switch from source to source. Seem like simple technology to make it work

You can just make shortcuts on your home screen for all of the different channels on different bands.

It take some time ...

You will need to take the time to program your favorites and use the app button on steering wheel to use HUD. Voice also works.

Thank you for all of the helpful replies. I am very pleased with the car. I’m getting more familiar with the true touchpad interface and I like it.
So far the build quality seems very good - body panels seem to line up well with no major gaps or uneven gaps between panels.
BTW - The major differences I feel from my 2015 TLX SH-AWD are, besides the expected drop in fuel economy and the higher seating position, is the RDX feels more heavy, it let’s in more outside (tire?) noise, and the front seats are more adjustable and comfortable.
