Installing quick release oil valve

I always install a Fumoto quick release oil valve to my vehicles. When I pull up the part info on their website I get this message.

FOR ACURA 2019 RDX 2.0L L4 TURBO
Your oil pan may have a recessed oil drain port and need an adapter ADL-106 to install the valve unless you use the F106SX valve. Using F106SX can avoid using the adapter. If the F106SX can only be pointed down and you have low ground clearance, use ADP-106 adapter to adjust the valve orientation.

I was wondering if anyone has installed one of these and if the adapter they reference is needed.

Hello, I have installed the F106sx series on my ‘19 rdx. I did not need the adapter. The bottom of the valve drain port extends about 1/8 inch
below the aluminum access panel.

I could totally see this on a car that you replace the oil constantly for racing but for a car that you change it every 5-7k miles, seems more risky then it’s worth, just my 2 cents, not that it matters

Cool, that's the one I ended up ordering.
