I'd trust the official Acura release over a dealer listing.
As far as the control unit, don't know. See if someone knows where it is on an Advance and I assume it is in the same place. You could go to dreamshop.acura.com and look at the diagrams. It reacts to drive mode and how hard you're turning, so it may be controlled by the car's main ECU and not a separate control, but I have no idea.
I just noticed from your other post that you just got the car from Acura of Auburn. Was it certified? If so, then the entire suspension should be under warranty.
In the 2022 there is a clear difference in how the car handles bumpy roads between sport+ and comfort, all because of the dampers. I heard that Acura widened the damper range in 2022 vs 2021, but I presume that it still should be noticeable in a 2021. Do you notice a difference between those modes?
Nothing is broken just want to add my own sub harness and tinker with the system a bit, diagram is a bit vague looks to be somewhere between seats, would have to take center console apart I guess.
Suspension stroke sensors seem to be for detecting/offsetting hard-braking-dive in the CTR, probably a situation that is mostly for track.
I'd think after a hard brake on street, you'd slowly move out of the way/back into traffic, so not as necessary on a street-purposed RDX. The RDX's acceleration sensor is 2-axis: the 22 has an onscreen display that shows both axes, don't know out 2021. A 2-axis G sensor seems like it should be enough to cover street scenarios so makes sense to me that stroke sensors are only on the CTR.
