Disable Seat Belt Chime on 2022 RDX

Is there a way to disable this? On my 2018 Audi, you can disable a bunch of things by using OBD11. It plugs into the OBD port and synchs with your phone and you can customize like 100 things. Does Acura have anything like this?

FYI - I am aware of the risks of turning the seat belt chime off. Most of the time I drive less than a half mile and that chime is very loud and annoying.

I would like to know as well. If not, this will definitely be something the dealer turns off during the first oil change. I always wear my seat belt, but that chime is ridiculous.

If you drive less than half a mile maybe you should just walk or ride a bike….😆

In the summer yea but currently it’s -1 degrees which is also why I bought the SH-AWD.

There’s gotta be a way to disable this. I’m not sure if the dealer will, but if they can do it then so can we.

To me it's the most annoying thing on the car. I prefer the '19 RDX dings over this horrible chime sound. It's too bad there isn't something in the settings that let's you mute it, or at least change it to something less annoying.

Get these. I can’t find a way to disable like you can in any other vehicle. I use because my dog sits shotgun and the thing goes nuts. Get 2 for like 8 bucks on Amazon

My wife’s 2020 mdx allows you to turn down the volume of the chime
why can’t they add this to the Rdx? Drives me crazy but
after 6 miles it shuts off btw

Are we talking about a chime that sounds for 6 miles even when the belts are fastened?....

No. Fasten your seat belt and it stops.

Gotcha! Thx, I couldn't imagine the angst if it did chime with the belts fastened!

I understand the others who have a very very short drive without using belts that are bothered by the chimes.

Yeah, I don't hate this as a solution. Like yes, I like modding, but, I kind of appreciate having this as a way to ensure I'm not being absent minded.

The easy way is to hook the belt, then get in.
