What you really are going to miss about the 4Runner limited 4WD is the reliability and the Resale value. Those 4Runner limited 4WD hold there value!!
I had a 2019 RDX A SPec If I had your 4Runner limited 4WD I would have never traded it for the Acura.
I am not insulting you just telling you as a pervious RDX owner the RDX is hype not quality like Acura was in the 90's.

Improvements were MPG, better tech, ride quality, handling and speed (RDX has more power than a 4Runner), and easier to park in tight spaces

Things I miss about the Toyota.
Slightly more room, rugged, better tow rating, windshield cheaper to replace, higher off the ground and visibility.

I won't disagree with you. If I could do it again I wouldn't sell my 4Runner. Too late now. I'm just waiting for the 6th generation 4Runner to come out and then I'll probably trade in my RDX.

The new one will have a v6 turbo. I don't think it will be the same as the old ones. I hope you don't get the blank display or the unable to change drive mode like I had on my 2019 RDX.
I just started the car and the unable to change drive mode came up cut off the car and it came back until the next day. Really pissed me off is I was on a road trip and really needed the display to work.
What really really pissed me off is I bought the car to use the screen for Google maps and for 42k I wound up using my 400 phone.it happened 4 times 2 of which the dealer said they found no issues, then there was a recall for the moss buss connector which they fixed. then 2 months later it came back the deal told me they had to call Acura to see if they could fix it again. I said that sounds like a personal problem and fix the F'ing car period. Weill I dumped the RDX during the pandemic and I just now got a CPO 2022 RX350. I love the Lexus.
The RDX Touch pad with that one to one is horrible / disaster the Lexus is not perfect but it's way better than the RDX also I have a touch screen just in case I get frustrated. Lexus defiantly used their brains by doing this. Now I do IT for over 40 years so I know what works better as a touch pad. I am not complaining to be complaining

For what its worth, the later year RDX's (4 years into the generation) have the touchpad and it works fine. They upgraded the processor and worked out the bugs.
The RX350 you have is 6 years into that generation of RX. I suspect if you got the first year of that generation like you did the RDX, you would have had issues there too.

I hope you are right on the RDX but to me it was more of the one to one that was the issue. As far as the other RDX stuff I hoped they fixed it because the car was ok just too many issues.
I found it very difficult to operate in NYC traffic unlike the RX350 I have now. On the RX 350 i have it was the last of the V6 So I would say you might be right except about 3 or 4 years ago I had my Timing belt done on my 92 ls 400 and I asked the Lexus dealership if I could get a RX350 as a loaner which they granted me. I had no issue in that one either. If my memory serves me correctly it was a 2020,.
If I had the 4 Runner I would have never traded it for a RDX. Yes the 4 Runner is a gas hog but it so dependable and holds it value. Sorry to say your RDX will never hold that value like your 4 Runner. Now I am not a Acura basher because I had a 1990 Legend L in Bahama Gold so I loved that car. But the 2019 RDX was far from that car so far for me I thought it was a Ford.
I wish you luck because the issues I had should never be on anyone with a new car from any brand period.

I traded a 2011 MDX for a 2020 RDX, which I traded 6 weeks later for a 2022 RDX...lol! The MDX was a tank, the 2020 RDX was front-wheel drive, and after having SH-AWD in the MDX, I just couldn't take the 2020 FWD, so away it went.

Yes the SH AWD was great . Funny part for me is when my RDX was in the shop they gave me a MDX loaner yes it was a tank but it got 16 to 17 MPG n NYC driving.
I had a very bad experience unlike in the 90's with Acura from Acura Corp down to the Dealership.
It's a shame because I wasted to love Acura but after what happened they lost me as a customer forever.
