Bugs and fixes

I’m not really familiar with how mid-course corrections are made. For example, are the consistent software glitches reported on this forum corrected month by month at the assembly line or do we have to wait for a 2020 or even MMC? ie Is a new 2019 car produced next February more likely to be glitch-free than one made last June as we move out of beta land?

I am sure there will be software update for 2019 at some point. But don't expect dealer to send you invitation to install it when its available. If you complain about the problem and they have the software, they will update it for you.
If software is updated before 2020 is produced, then yes, it will be already there.
