Ever since the infotainment update this week, I can no longer check my vehicle status( tire pressures, mileage, fuel) from the AcuraLink app. I had to add my car back to the app but it says that I have no active subscription. Isn’t the AcuraLink Basic subscription free and comes with all RDX’s for 3 years? Has this happened to anyone else?
"Basic" is free forever, until they change their mind.
I lost the ability to check status when I allowed my "remote" and "security" AcuraLink "trial" subscriptions to lapse, months ago. Long before the D.1.1.4 update.
I can still see fuel level, odometer, "range" and "oil life" from the phone app. But nothing for tire pressures, door locks, etc.
The AcuraLink website is confusing, to say the least. Make sure you are looking at the page specific to the 2019+ RDX.
I just renewed my remote package, as it was scheduled to expire yesterday. Well, even though my account says it's renewed for 1 year, it expired yesterday anyway. The remote options disappeared from the app right on schedule.
Called customer service and they acknowledged the renewed subscription and told me to call tech support on Monday so they can troubleshoot it.
Customer service is obviously outsourced to some foreign country because she was oblivious to Monday being a holiday.

I remember when I first purchased the car I too had to call tech support to get Accuralink to work right. But that said, with all the Infotainment issues you would think Acura would give us all the packages for FREE.......

Just checked and the remote options are back. Musta been a "glitch".
I had problems with the app on an older phone but since I got my Galaxy S10, the app has been fast and flawless. That's why I renewed.
I found out that the Allowed Vehicle Data Collection was unchecked and I checked it back on. However, the Basic Functionality is still not working in Acura Link. I even removed and readded the car to the App without any luck. Anyone have any ideas on what I should do next?
Anyone know how to do a total reset of Acura Link?
What do you mean by total reset? Do you mean the app? You can uninstall and reinstall or clear all the data (not just cache). That's the same as a new install.
But I've tried everything and still can't clear the send-to history.
Is there a bulk year purchase option? $110/year seems steep. A 5 or 10 year purchase option with some discount seems more reasonable.
On previously released vehicles there was a discounted package for the first 3 years and then it went year-to-year. But not this one.
Like all the other car manufacturers, Acura is still trying to figure out how to make money on this scheme. Or not bleed money. Someone needs to pay for the cellular data access.
My Acuralink Basic has now been broken for two months. I opened a case with Acura and they have been working on it for six weeks. I am really surprised that they cannot answer a basic question: Is the car sending the data to the servers or not? If not, then it means that something is wrong with the car else it is a problem with my account or app....
After nearly 6 weeks complaining to AcuraLink that I'm no longer able to send destinations from the app to my 2019 RDX Advance & AcuraLink's "Remote" subscription, when the car is off, they told me they turned off the feature on a recent app update. No explanation why they did or if they plan to add it back. WTF!
TPM was removed some time ago as well but that hot a big issue as it was not live data anyway. but the strange thing is that their last update (4.1.0) earlier this month portrays 4 tire PSI on the app home page. MISLEADING / DECEPTIVE > YEP.
were you in the car connected by bluetooth? Or were you elsewhere & the directions you sent on the infotainment system when you started the car?
Also is the AcuraLink version you have their newest from this month, version 4.1.0 & did you update the OTA firmware earlier this month on the car to D.1.2.1?
For some reason mine has only been working since early- mid Sept. if car accessories are on or car is running & I'm connected by Bluetooth.

Sent it from home via the app. The car wasn’t on, so no BT connection. It was on Tuesday, the 12th. I updated the car the very day the update came out. The Link version reads 4.10.
As it turns out, I dismissed the routing in the car and chose to use Apple Maps because I was using carplay to listen to Amazon Prime music.
I only tried the send-to feature once a couple months ago to see if it works and it did. The only thing I can't do is delete the history from the app. I don't want my wife finding out about the strip joints I go to.
I think Madd Dog has the iPhone version. I have Android 9. Maybe I'll try it again next time I have someplace to go but it's something I can live without. I just don't use it.

Acura gave me an update on my issues... Apparently, the data is going from the car to Acura but not coming from Acura to my app. They said that they see the issue and have opened a defect and will look to include in the next release. Let us see if they can fix it....
Yeah, my iPhone AcuraLink app stopped updating "vehicle status" after the D.1.1.2 infotainment update. I chose to ignore that cuz I don't find it useful anyway.
But thanks for lighting a fire under Acura about it.

Mine works after the update. Put in a ticket, make them earn their pay.
