Hi,

When purchasing new TPMS sensors at a dealership for a winter tire set of wheels , do I have to program/ activate them?
Or do they connect automatically after driving for a period of time above certain speed?

If they need to be programmed/activated, do I have to do it before installation on the rim or can this be done after installation on the rim with a tire?

If it's genuine honda/acura tpms sensors the car will read the new sensors automatically after driving a few minutes at speed, no programming or anything required. Aftermarket sensors may require programming.
