2016 RDX and TPMS question
2016 RDX and TPMS question
Hi all...
I have a 2016 RDX with OEM 18" wheels and yesterday I purchased a set of new 2019 RDX 19" wheels with tires. Since I installed the new wheels my TPMS is indicating a malfunction and it will not clear. I followed some advice to drive the car at about 40 MPH for a while, but still my TPMS is not working. Anyone knows if Acura is using different TPMS sensors between 2016 and 2019? Is there anything else I can try before contacting dealer? I would like to use my old 18" wheels as a winter set and new 19" as summer set, but I don't want to deal with TPMS errors constantly. Any help would be appreciated.

The standard is the same, only the sensors are different, why didn't you move the old sensors to the new wheels? Very often people think that part numbers are different for no reason until the system stops working.
