How do I remove this piece? 2016 MDX advanced

I’m looking at removing this piece so I can drill it and put in a USB socket. Does anyone know how to remove it? Thanks.

You do know there is a socket in that compartment directly below what you are pointing at right? Are you looking to add a second one? Why not wire directly from the fuse box instead?

Yes, I know there is an outlet. I want to install 2 USB socket plugins in the module I’ve drawn red around. I can tap into the outlet power for ease and convenience. There is no need to run to the fuse box unless I’m using higher voltage. It will be to charge my electronic devices in road trips.

I don't know for certain, but it looks like you will need to remove the two tan pieces on either side of the highlighted panel.

You can also subscribe to the TechInfo website ($10 for a day), which will give you access to repair manuals.

Both of the leather covered tan panels need to removed first, this is correct. Then that black piece just pulls out. It's held in by 4 clips.
