Carplay problem

All of a sudden when I connect my iphone 8 running iOS 15.02 with an Apple cable to my 2019 MDX, the Carplay screen is blank. Carplay is working (I can command Siri to txt, call, stream Pandora, etc) but screen is dead. The screen works with all the other Acura functions.
I took the car to the dealer and they connected another iPhone with another cable and got the same results. Unfortunately they dont have a clue what is wrong…
Any clues?

When did you update your phone? When did the problem start?
I suspect with 15. Acura software is not up to date yet.

I cannot pinpoint exactly when but I believe it was before 15.
The Acura dealer’s position is “because we dont have an error code, there is nothing we can do” while they are looking at the blank screen…

You can try the following:

Reboot the iPhone and then re-connect via the cable to CarPlay.

Unpair/delete the iPhone and then pair it again.

I have this issue with android auto once every few months. Usually i have to restart my phone, turn off the ignition and let the car sit for a few mins. If nothing else doesnt work I would disconnect the vehicles battery.

I have restarted the phone and engine a few times and that works only some times.
Disconnecting the battery sounds a bit extreme at this time as I will loose all the memory settings on infotainment and others.
