Is there such a unit capable of displaying my iphone on its screen and controlling it in that matter ? I want to make my iPhone the main entertainment system and use its navigation apps for the car. Is there any solution that can work this idea in simple and sophisticated way ? Thanks for any input guys.

that cost is outrageous!! far far far far far tooooooooo much for what that is. why not just get pioneer app radio or just do away with the head unit all together and just use the phone? there are so many more cost effective ways to pull off what you need. granted it will not be a perfect mirror like that is but that is just too much for not enough IMHO. wow.

 

Pioneer App radio would be my choice. Does everything you said you want. Played with one once at Best Buy and thought it was awesome.

That's kinda dumb I can duplicate my iPhone/ iPad on my screen, given u can't control it from the screen but it mirrors what u got on to screen

 

I have a kenwood hu and I know if you buy the USB cable you can watch movies from your iPhone... You can also do navigation too.. Never got around to getting the cable though so I don't know how we'll it works
