Cargo box??
We'll since I am having my own chat I rolled the dice with the skybox 16. I will post pics when I get it set up. Purchased via Amazon crossing my fingers. I called Yakima direct and asked and the said good to go.

I don't think I would ever have that much cargo where I would need this but that looks like a good option for people that do. Looking forward to seeing how MDX looks with that.
I recall in another thread that someone mentioned that the skybox
16 interferes with fully opening of the hatch/trunk door.
I have the skybox 16 also but have been holding off purchasing the cross rails for now.
It was mentioned in the same thread that thule will be coming out with cross bars to fit the 3G mdx rails-- hopefully there will be some adjustment available to position the cross bars.

Yakima Carbonite 16 does not fit. The tail gate hits it. I called customer service and get this, they said their fit app does not take into effect the tail gate. The app advises if it will fit on the roof. BS! Now I am trying to rig it by lifting the rear with rubber spacers. Probably too expensive return to Amazon.
Well I got it to fit. Not easy. I cut the slits about 4 inchs and raised the back will taking 3 pieces of pipe insulation, well see photos. It does hit a little when tail gate is open all the way. Thats why i put some padding on the rear cargo box.
