Winter Gone?

I purchased a set of Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 winter tires for the past winter. Fortunately or unfortunately, depending on which way you look at it, I didn't get much of a chance to test them in snow or ice.

Thinking about taking them off this weekend. Am I too optimistic about the weather?

Pretty much done

This time of year is more unpredictable than the rest of winter. Like today here in the mid-atlantic it will be 80! I do remember a few years back when we got socked in the 2nd week of March with an 18in snow storm.
But for all intents and purposes, put your tires away, slide your summer skins back on, and if we do get that late in the season kick in the teeth by old man winter it will only last a day or two.

Who knows. I just wait until April now for default.

Last year is the only year that I put my rims on in March and this is what happened, literally, a week later:

Edit: I just went back on Facebook to see this. I uploaded this exactly a year ago. March 23rd 2011. To think it was below freezing last year, and now it's 80 degrees. Crazy.

It is hard to advise you since you didn't tell us where you live.

If you're in Florida - go for it. If you're in Alaske then I might wait a bit.

ok, I took them off yesterday. As long as we are not getting 6" of snow, I should be fine.

I suppose when I rotate the front and rear tires, the car will be smart enough to show the proper tire pressure at each wheel despite the fact that the pressure sensor is now displaying pressure at a different corner of the car. Am I correct?
