Right or Recommended PSI for 2013 Acura TSX
HI all,,,
Recently weather has been cold so I checked my PSI meter and it went down from 32 to 28...
I know recommendation for 13 TSX is around 33 PSI or at least that's what my dealer is doing to my car...
I will be driving around 200 miles round trip this weekend and temperature there will be around 30 to 40 degrees F...
so should i go ahead to gas station to set my PSI to 33 and higher???
what do you guys set it up to??
I never have filled air to my tire so i need some advice..

33 psi will be fine. Fill them when they are as cold as possible. Driving for a couple of miles will warm them up...but...don't get hung up on it.
Have a tire shop do it for you if you're not confident. Its pretty easy...but don't trust gas station gauges. They are almost never accurate. Use a good quality gauge.
Your tires' max pressure is likely around 50psi. If you fill 33PSI in the tires and drive 200 miles...the pressure will rise a few PSI regardless of weather anyway. You may end up at like 36-37PSI when you get there. No biggie.
The recommended tire pressure is printed on the label that is stuck to the driver side door jamb, BTW. 33 sounds correct.

honestly i would just pump it a bit more if your too busy to pump air in. Keep it like 35 so when its cold it drops to around 32/31. I personally keep a small eletric air pump in my car so i can use it whenever.

I always run 36psi. You can run more, and I like the results of adding more air. It makes the tread push out more, feels better on the road and seems to handle slightly better.
You'll only damage your tires if you go over the maximum, or you run too low of pressure.
Personally, 33psi is the minimum for me.

I just came from the trip...
apparently, it snowed and all four tires went down to 26 PSI...
but I just came home driving 90 miles total with no problem...
so today, I just went to the gas station and filled front tires (38PSI) while 35 PSI in the back tires...
is it okay or should i inflate to all wheels being between 33~35?

33 cold is what it says on the door. If you drove more than a mile or two before filling them, then fill them to 37ish.
33 cold (cold meaning at whatever your current ambient temp is).
Approx 37 with the tires warmed up.
Its that simple. Adjust again in the summer as needed. Use the same PSI as above.

well... it's 38 in the front and 35 in the back tires when it's cold...
i guess i'll need some adjustments... i'll make them all 35 at least then..
