Hey guys,
My 2009 TSX with 154,000 miles is finally starting to show signs of wear. My driver's side door lock actuator has failed.


I've searched for the 2nd gen TSX door lock actuators on line but am having a difficult time finding the part. No joy on ebay either. Lots of 1st gen door lock actuators available but not 2nd gen.


Aside from a dealership, do any of you know where I can buy a new door lock actuator?


Aside for the door lock actuator and the A/C failing, my TSX c has been great to me. A very dependable daily driver.

Have you tried the Acura vendors? A few are parts vendors, while others are online parts depts of dealerships. That'll probably be your best shot.

I checked Rock Auto a few weeks ago and did see door lock actuators for a 2nd gen Acura. I like Rock Auto's prices and I have purchased hub assemblies from Rock Auto for my Acura TSX.

Thanks thoiboi. Not sure if the door lock assembly is the same as a door lock actuator. I need to pull the door panel and actually look at the lock actuator.
