Turbo like sound coming from intake?

Whenever accelerating between like 2500-4500 rpm my car makes a whistling noise almost like a turbo. I have a takeda CAI and a TB spacer. anyone else have this issue or have an ideas what it might be i cant seem to figure it out.

whistling... i dont really know, but if its a whistle its most likely caused by air escaping through a small hole, or being pulled through a small hole. Maybe you could take a look and see if the filter was damaged by any chance or take a look at the ring where the filter connects to the CAI

Dude, I hear the same exact noise. I have a Takeda in the SRI configuration, but I didn't hear it or lets say notice it until after I got the pulleys installed. Sounds good too.

Thats funny u say that because I just got my pulleys installed and it's more noticeable. I wonder what it is....kind of does sound cool but sometimes it's annoying I just hope I'm not losing airflow or pressure from the intake.

the noise is from the intake. its kinda like when you whistle, it takes a certain amount of air to make the noise. its normal to have that noise.

this topic has also been covered many times before so if you did want more info, just use the search.
