Strannge problem 2013 TSX SE

Hi all,
New user here. My TSX did something strange last night; I pressed the trunk button on the fob and all the windows and the sunroof opened.
Now I know the Unlock open all windows trick, but this occurred when the trunk button was pressed, not the Unlock button. The trunk didn't open and now the car won't arm itself.
I have to start the car to shut all windows and lock the car manually. Neither of my 2 fobs work now.

Anyone come across this problem?
Thanks for any help.

I would start diagnostics by replacing the key fob battery and see if that makes a difference. I know you said neither of your fobs work but again I would start by replacing the batteries and then, pending results you can rule out the fobs.
How old is the battery in your TSX? Dying batteries or dying cells within the battery have been know to manifest themselves in all sort of weird electrical oddities.

Thank you for the quick reply. The car battery is about 4 years old. So far no signs of it failing through regular use.
Can a user change the fob battery? I was under the impression I had to bring it to the dealer for that.
Thanks again.

Yes, you can change out your own key for batteries. Typically are small round watch batteries and you can find videos on Youtube on how to do so. It's actually very easy and significantly more cost effective than going to the dealer!!!

Yeah I checked it on YouTube, looks easy enough.

Thanks for your help.
