Sqeaking noise when closing the trunk..
It's driving me nuts for some reason...
2013 Acura TSX
Every time I open my trunk and shut it, there is squeaky noise... it seems to be coming from the left hinge or lever... don't know how to say it and i will include image (not mine)..
1) Do i have to grease it or something? or should i just take it to the dealer and have them take a look??

2) Also, there is some rear noise and it's like something like plastic is hitting against each other (clicky noise)... something loose as well??
found similar tread: but don't think they have a fix as well... but mine seems to be coming from the trunk also...

Anything that moves can stand a dose of lube with it starts to make noise.
Hit the hinge with some white lithium grease or some Shin Etsu grease or something and see if it goes away.

No clue. I'm just speaking in general. When moving things start to not; or when they start to complain... Add lube.
Looks like there are some covers that need to come off, unless you can peek up under the rear parcel shelf from inside the trunk and see the moving bits. Take a look at the parts diagram and it should be evident.

Start using some silicone lube spray, as it is non-greasy and does not make a mess if it leaks.
Spray one spot at a time, testing for noise in-between sprays.
When you identify the exact component that was making the noise, use some spray-based grease to ensure proper lubrication. I recommend .
The use of spray lubricants in such cases will help disseminate the lube further and maximize the chance of lubricating the culprit component.

I still have warranty to the car... it's better to take it to the dealer right??
they never overcharged me on anything... not even asking me to change the air filter when it was time to... they just recommended me on the Multi inspection sheet 3 month back.
