Rattle noise in roof!?

Anyone have problem with rattle noise coming from roof above the right back passenger seat. Every time I hit little bump or uneven surface I can hear that noise. I had that noise coming sync beginning of november took my car 2 weeks after the noise started. The tech test drove and confirmed my issue. They lubed sunroof rails and said that it will go away after the car is driven. Its been almost two months sync then and I can still hear that noise it is very annoying. Anyone had that problem or any suggestion what can it be?

I used to have a buzz sound from right rear passenger side roof a year ago. I fixed it by tucking in a piece of felt in between. I just fixed left rear passenger side as well yesterday. It most happend when it is cold.

I had the same issue, took Acura two times dropping the headliner but they finally got it to stop. Apparently it was something to do with the sunroof supports, they wrapped them with felt and no more noise. Mine was just behind the passanger edge of the sunroof. if you held your hand on the headliner the noise vanashed, if you let go started immediately.

My rattle is directly above the passenger seatbelt area (6" up from where the seatbelt meets the passenger side wall). The rattle only happens when I'm going over bumps at 50+ mph and is incredibly annoying.

Do you think this is a separate issue from the sunroof supports?

I have a 2011 TSX SportWagon and had a very similar noise. The dealer pulled the headliner and found that the sunroof wire loom insulator was rubbing. Perfectly quiet now!

I've a 2011 Acura TL and the noise started 2 mths after i purchased my car (SAD)- but of course, i found out that 'the noise' is a known manufacturing defect for which Acura pays the dealership a hefty amt to fix the problem. Unfortunately, the dealership couldn't replicate the problem - they blamed the cold weather for not being able to hear anything. It's been warm & toasty the last few days and the noise is back..hopefully they can do something abt it now (or while the car is still under warranty)- it is annoying!
