P2422 Code - Easiest Fix Ever
P2422 Code - Easiest Fix Ever
I have a 2009 Acura TSX, it threw a P2422 code last week. After looking at this thread, I replaced the control valve under the hood, on the driver's side of the engine. $45. It did not fix the problem. Then I got under the back of the car, pulled one 10mm bolt off the Evap Vent cap, disconnected the main tube going to the cap, and cleaned out the vent. It was packed with old spider webs. Re-installed the evap cap, put it back on the car - fixed. Took 10 minutes. I did not need to waste the $45 for the valve...ping me if you have trouble locating the evap tube and cap - it is super easy to see and take off.
