Anyone else experiencing noises coming from their driver's seat when moving around in the seat or during turning? Anyone found a solution?

 

With the lumbar support at the lowest point there is some noise. With it halfway up or so it doesn't make much noise. It's annoying.

 

My seat makes weird creaking and squeaking noises when I drive. I'm going to ask about it when I take it in for the next oil change.

 

Oh yes my TSX driver seat started making creaking noises at ~35,000k miles and I asked the dealer twice they old me they couldn't reproduce I didn't argue.

I'm sure now it'll start making noises next time I drive it.

 

Mine too, sounds like I'm farting every time I move. I'm really only farting about a third of the time.

 

Mine started at around the same mileage too. It's a creaking sound at times and at other times, like when I drive over bumps, it's a popping sound like when you pop bubble wrap.

That and the stored seat settings stopped working. I really hate to have to take it in to a dealership, but it might be time.

 

18k on mine and it started making the same noises.... Really annoying. Going to take it to the dealer.

 

Drive with windows open to mitigate both issues?

 

Well, I solved my noisy seat problem this weekend. Remember how I said it sounded like a popping or plasticky crackling?

I found an old bottle of water wedged under the seat when cleaning out the car. Got rid of it and the noises are gone.

 

^^^ LMAO but seriously mine does it too ( 2010 base) my car has 50k on it....and when i turn or twist in the seat it makes a creaking/squeak sound....not sure what the heck it is...but mine seems to be coming from the side bolsters...anyone else? im not even going to go to Acura because my warranty is already out....

could be all the tweking that goes on in the tsx, you know how thirsty the ho's get over an Acura...
