Front brakes squeal - 2010 V6

At about 3000 miles, my V6 base's front brakes started squealing. I to them apart, cleaned, sanded and lubed everything with anti-seize compoud (my standard approach when maintaining brakes for the last 20-years). This did not resolve the issue.

There is an updated front pad set with V-springs available, but the dealer's parts guy told me that it was not supposed to fit the V6. I compared them side by side and they appear to be the same physical size.

Anyone knows if the V6 and the L4 have use the same pads?

V6 front pads part # 45022-SEA-J11, I4 part # 45022-SEA-J11. So you are correct, they are the same and therefore interchangeable.

Update - I replaced the front pads with the following pads: 45022-TE0-999. This is apparently the updated part number for the existing 45022-SEA-J11. The new pads have V-springs, and it looks like they also have a different compound. So far the squeal is gone.
