Post 2011 Acura TSX Road Noise Help

Hello,

I just purchased a 2011 Acura TSX which I must say I love

There was only one small detail which did not bother me so much at the time of deciding to buy the car.

The tires makes a loud road noise that gets kind of disturbing after a while.

Anyways, I wanted to know what is the best tire set some of you guys out there are using.

Trying to look for something very quiet and sporty.

Maybe something even a little bit wider than the stock tires if it is possible.

Let me know.

Gladly appreciate any help.

Thanks

How many miles are on your car? Your tires may be worn and that can cause increased road noise.

Wider tires will increase road noise as well as increasing the tendency to tramline.

I currently have 33k miles and the tires do not look too worn out. It's just the road noise that drives me crazy.

Not too concerned with wider tires.

Just want to leliminate the road noise by getting new tires that are smooth and quiet.

As tires age they get noisier. From a noise standpoint, you'll see improvements by just getting the same new tires. Tires can also be noisy if not properly inflated. What is the psi in your tires now?

What is your driving style? What quality roads? What does your daily commute look like?

Finally, what car did you come from that had a quieter ride? What tires were on that car?
