Mr. NC's Build Thread

What's good guys. I never really introduced myself, thought now would be a good idea.

I've learned alot on here and everybody has been helpful. I hope nobody minds my sarcasm when I post haha. Gotta keep it light. The world is too depressing as it is.

Got the car in January 5, 2011 and yeah Blizzard the next day LOL. It's a 2010 Grigio TSX Premium model.

Current mods
  1. Injen CAI
  2. Full LED interior + LED License plate lights
  3. 45% Tint all around
  4. LaminX 5% "Gunsmoke" Headlights and Taillights + Yellow Fog overlays
  5. 3000K Fogs, 6000k lows (not installed)
  6. Nokya arctic white DRL's
  7. Chrome dipped rear turn signals
  8. LED Reverse lights
  9. LED Brake lights (not installed, still wondering if it's "bright enough" )
  10. HeelToe Grille (I'm one of 10 who's currently waiting woooo)
  11. 1 of 1 Illest Licence plate (More on that later)
Failed Mods list LOL
  1. M5 CF spoiler (curvature was way off, dunno how CU2Mike did it)
  2. 4' TI Tips (Looked AWESOME, but didn't find a way to mount since stock exhaust tip was too small
Picture time
1st Day WOOO STEELIES

LOL

Not stealing...I swear

Proly my "proudest" mod HAHA, I had black on black Illest license plate frames kinda rare I believe. Anyways I was at the stealership getting a paint pen for my homegirls CSX, I decided to get one for myself. I sanded down and painted the Fatlace and ILLEST in GRIGIO GREY METALLIC 1 OF 1 BITCHESSSSSS, a small mod but its a nice detail me thinks

Future list of mods, no rush since I just graduated University Honours in Business-Finance Holllaaaaa
  1. OEM rear and sides, unless RJ decides to drop their lip kit gotta complete the aero (more on that later )
  2. Honda Access Sport Pedals
  3. Red Hazard button
  4. Roof spoiler
  5. Apex'i grounding kit
  6. Coils
  7. Rims currently looking at Volk TE37, Work T1S Varianza, Enkei RPF1, I was also thinking Rotiform BLQ, Euro rim but would be a 1st for an 2nd Gen TSX
I'll leave you guys with this

1st in Canada, not sure bout the US, the Honda Tuning project car shouldn't count HAHA, John at JDP was very helpful in answering all my questions

Anything else I do will be posted to this thread.

Thanks for looking
:gheywave:

also, ur car on steelies....grigio with all black rims dont look too bad....black out the grille (or get HT grille) and it'll look pretty balling.

Haha no sir, my boy did with his Canon, he owns the Mazda 3 in 1 of the pictures. There's another photoshoot that got done but he's not done editing them yet

I'll have to change my driving style somehow/be more careful cuz of the lip and I'm not even lowered lol. I checked under the stock bumper and there are scrape marks so thats no fun.

Rims cant be blacked out its too dark, I need a high polish or machine faced to contrast the car/match the chrome door handles and trim. It already looks too dark with the LaminX and ed you know I'm waiting for that grille haha

I did a test fit and it fits like a glove. I won't be able to install for the next two weeks tho since I'll be going to Europe this friday (Accord Headlights anyone?). I'm going to paint it Honda Tech style and mount it soon as I get back. JDP was really good it took them 2 weeks to make it and 1 more week to ship it out but I live in Canada so you'll proly get it sooner.

Omg, I WANT THAT LIP!!! That's so nice man! I'd look retarded with a CF lip on my Euro though
And I agree with Ed, That second picture is mad. Keep us posted!

Also, what is an 'Apexi grounding kit'?

EDIT: Wait, how is that lip installed? Does it go ... under or something so that only the lip is showing? Cause I thought that it's that whole thing showing.. guess I was wrong.

EDIT 2: Ok......... I was wrong again, the pics on the site are just painted.....

From what I read it just creates a better flow for electricity in your car. Some benefits I've read is that the lights are brighter, engine idles at a lower RPM so less wear & tear on engine, engine idles smoother too and response from engine is faster.

Some people have even shown an increase of 5-10hp just from the grounding kit alone. With dyno graphs and all that jazz but that doesn't really concern me. The TSX ain't chasing down an evo any time soon lol.

People have done DIY kits as well and does the same thing and proly costs 1/4 the price. Hope that helps

All I want is a watch, classic Rolex Submariner from the 1980's BNIB? Yes please

Mr. NC, you can get some AMAZING beer in Brussles. Don't you dare touch a Heineken while you are there. lol! And if you find the time and find yourself in Scotland, which is awesome too, head to Aberdeenshire on the North-East side of the island. You can tour the BrewDog Brewery. And if you don't drink, well, you should still go. Have a great trip!

I considered a damp cloth wiping down the leather but that doesn't really protect it + wouldn't that make it dryer in the long run?

WTF I was never informed of this lol do you have pics and I will assume they as good as Meguiars, Mothers etc.

Guys london is Supercar central, WTF everyone either has a Aston Martin or a Porsche or a Ferrari or a Lambo. Bentley and Rolls Royce are also quuuuuite popular. I even saw a white on white Bugatti Veyron

BUT

I only saw 1 Honda Accord aka Acura TSX but it was a 1st gen, so we got the rarer car all right hahhahah

For the dash I just used a microfibre cloth and some water. As for the leather, I went out and bought a bottle of Meguiars leather cleaner for $9. Not sure how well that works but yeah, I was recommended it :\

i just use turtle wax ice vinyl/leather cleaner (blue bottle) for the vinyl and dash and also the leather. i use it for general cleaning.

i use lexol shampoo/conditioner for thorough cleaning, but that's like every few months or every month if im feeling it. too bad now i don't even want to be outside with all these mosquitos in florida

No Idea where those are Pyrodave infact but I did see alot of Honda Civic Type R's, the new hatchbacks we never got and they're pretty cool actually.

Too late for the map tho PyroDave I'm headed to Paris monday morning. High Speed train time!

So the options seem to be Turtles. Meguiars or water haha

Guys Paris was weksos for cars, like the usual Euros but nothing too mind blowing

Zurich on the other hand........ZOMG as nice as london and thats in the day!, I even saw an NSX!!! and their BMW here comes in an evergreen colour which doesn't look that bad actually. Wagons are real popular here so everyone has a Audi S4, RS4, S6 or RS6 avant....good lawwwwwd

BUT biggest news is, soon as I stepped out of the Zurich train station I saw

A CU2!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was a black type S, cleared corners or euro headlights, an older guy was driving it. No pictures tho sorry guys! I was literally just standing there and staring even tho a Rolls Royce was behind it and behind that was a F550 Maranello, that Type S body kit is seeeexy

No way that close hondo?! Thats like a 1 or 2 hr ride on the SBB CFF FFS right? (Thats the intercity train I took to Zurich today LOL). Did you ever get your exhaust done? I will come over just to see it LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL.
This would have possibly been Azine's first ever INTERNATIONAL meet I think.

Yes, its a 2 hr ride.
The exhaust was for the V6, and in Europe we dont have the V6 engines. So I think this exhaust will be on sale only in the USA. I was standing in Front of the package and could not believe it, the exhaust was looking so awesome. I have some pics in my exhaust thread!
Yes, you and I are close to a USA - EURO Meeting.LOL

Rome was disappointing in terms of Car sightings only saw a F350 Maranello lol.

Next up was Salzburg, Austria of course the cars would be from Deutscheland. I swear seeing all these wagons makes me want 1 as well. a nice A4 or A6 Avant.

I'm in Berlin now, every Porsche I have seen is done up in some way. no base Porsches either everything is at least a Turbo...lol, R8's as well here. Great to see that MB E-CLass here are taxis...and I'm talking the new 2011 edition too.

That's it for car spotting. I'll see what else Berlin brings tomorrow.

In terms of beer I've had local beer from the 6 countries I been in, they all taste good, don't ask me what they called cuz I just pick em randomly.

ps. I havn't seen a CU2 here since Switzerland. WTF Baby Jesus Am I looking in all the wrong places?
