im installing the following tomorrow:
OEM window visors, smoked side markers, yellow bulbs for DLR, yellow laminix for fogs, black tint for amber turn signals, and flat black paint for the rear bumper

the car looks amazing in person. im looking forward to a local acura meet

Looks so elegant, but the tow hook in the back kinda goes agains tthe clean flowing look of the exhasut. nice drop too, just get some wheels that reflect clean / luxury and your car will be sick!

I thought this was gonna be a disaster when i heard about u getting the LS tips but they actually look good!

The wheels and CF spoiler dont really go well with the clean luxury looks of the tips IMO

I thought it was going to be a clusterfvck too. The shop did a really good job on the tips from what I can see, and the other mods are personal taste.

Good job, Defcon!

That ended up looking a lot better than I thought it would. I'm surprised at how well the shop did with the install. Almost looks OEM.

Get rid of that tow hook though, it looks terribly out of place.

You don't have 2 different style wheels on each side of the car do you?

It's one style *per side*, not two different on each side, sheesh!

Yeah, but he can't see but one side at a time.

Yes its one style per side. I get to appreciate both rims at the same time without having to mount them every month or so. Personal taste.

In person, you wouldn't notice it unless I told you or if you completely walked around the entire car.

More pics from the shop without the tow hook and red overlays

Does it look better with the white reverse light or keep it as is with the red overlay?

Looks better with reverse light, my 2 cents.

As for the exhaust tips I am very impressed with how good a job that body shop did. Looks awesome and totally changes the look of the car. Just do something about the two hook though

And im not totally opposed to have 2 sets of wheels on your car. My friend with an S2K did that too and it's not bad. Donno if its right for our car but makes you unique none the less. Overall your car is looking tight! props man, i like the roof spoiler too

the tips look really clean and flow well. the redouts over the turn signal look good, but not over the reverse light.

the tow hook must be destroyed.

and you should get the 5 spoke wheels all around. different wheels on both sides are really ghey.

and get some wd40 and get rid of the glue from the badges!

post updated pics.

and btw, i duno if acura guna take the car back with the modified rear bumper..

Added OEM visors, black tint turnsignals, yellow fogs, cleaned up the debadging, yellow DRL bulbs, custom license plate holder

Next project:
install custom fog lights with yellow HIDs, Audi white LED strips, smoked sidemarkers, black vinyl window trims, painted m3 lip spoiler

I'm still debating whether I should paint the bottom middle bumper with flat black or leave it as is

Wow, the LS tips looks nice, the shop did a great job blending them in.

I like the red over turn signal, not so much on reverse light (not sure if that's legal either?).

Yea I'm going to cut the reverse light in half to see how it looks. I have a feeling its going to look pink due to the reflector. If it's too pink then I'll completely remove it.

The tips actually look good. The rest of the mods...not so much. For the love of god, pick a set of wheels and go with them all around.

I removed the red tint off the reverse light.

What's wrong with the tow hook? I know its not functional at all but I like the way it looks. ::flamesuit on:: hehe

I'm going to buy the car when the lease is up.

Personal taste...I don't like the way the hook looks at all. There's just no point to it being there.

If you don't mind me asking, why bother leasing the car first if you're 100% sure you plan on buying it after the lease? Why waste that extra money? Or was it the lower initial lease payment that made you go that route regardless of how much money you'll lose?

Hmm install looks clean but not feeling it as it sits right now. Might flow better if your car was lower.

Whaddddup defconskylude, I told you Eastside muffler does good work! They did a really good job on the tips bro! Cars looking good, but I personally would stick with one set of wheels, not digging the two different sets, either way, gotta hand it to you, no other TSX like it, keep up the good work! Where did you get the roof spoiler from, really like that one, very low profile.

Yep. Thanks for the recommendation. I'm going back there in a couple of weeks. They're going to install the foglights next.
