I mean, how would that work? Only way i could think would be taking out the small portion of the Bdge, spraying it and then cutting away around the emblem? Id be scared to cut my paint. anyone else chime in give me ideas ill be a test dummy for us CU2's.

i'll help ya do it, i was gonna do mine soon. you just tape up the area around the A symbol, then pray. tooth pick or anything to just trace around the outside and inside, then just slowly peel. should be good. im gonna do everything on the back instead of debadging. actually maybe on like wed-sat. also redoing my entire grill. looks like i'll most likely be taking the car down to philly (hopefully)

I never noticed my third brake light isnt tinted either. But seeing how I never noticed until now, it doesn't really bother me. And pyro is right, plastidip it on the car would be easy. Anything like a toothpick would work. Jus wopndering but these emblems are just applied with an adhesive right, I dont see any holes.

Yup its just Adhesive. Apply a blow dryer for a few minutes close, and take Dental Floss, get behind the letter and saw back and forth gently and the letters will just start comming right off. You can then apply your wax, polish etc if you want to get into detail. Mine was 1000 miles old so it was okay

Re tinting that nasty back window this weekend.

Also torn between ordering 4300k HIDS for fog to match headlights perfectly. And i love the REALLLLY WHITE output of it. Or the other choice would be go 5000k and buy 5000K Bulbs for my Lows. Any .02 ?

both will be fine, do keep in mind that 4300k for the lows are the best for visibility range. i changed mine to 6000k and the visibility range was noticeably different, but i love the color so it didn't bother me

Nice, and yes im keeping the 4300 low beans, i wouldnt switch out the factory bulb for an aftermarket bulb, and i love the light output, ill just do the fogs 4300 to match them, i found a white CU2 stock low beam 4300k bottom. Looked so sick. it was literally all white.

Also going to retint the rear window again, going from 20% to 35% and geting the whole window covered this time

tint shop said they would have to remove my rear deck to tint whole window, Ive heard they have a really thin tool that slides behind it. And want to charge me $75. Is this BS?

I wanted to avoid going to another shop because they might not have the same company so their % might be a little off from eachother. Or am i over thinking it?

LED reverse is such a nice and simple mod....too bad I can't EVER see it when I'm driving muahahaha

Interior LED's are 1 year old now...still goin strong. 1st mod I ever did...did it in my driveway in the middle of winter, I had no clue what I was doing at the time. I just copied everything they did in the LED thread funtimes.

They shouldn't remove rear deck good sir. if anything Tint man does the spiderman back there to fit it. I watched my tint guy do it...man has the flexibility of a gymnast and hes like 40+ years old lol

Where can I get a H badge to replace the A's and the Accord badge for the rear? Did you use floss to remove your emblems or a heat gun?

I went to a second shop today, brought the car into the bay, and tried to fit their squeegee couldnt fit. Confirming the other shops statement on having to remove the deck

Im ordering mine tonight! again with the procrastination! i just dont want anything wack and lack of brightness.

As far as tints it doesnt seem to be them as the problem. i wanted them try to fit a tool down the brake light to see if they could tint the whole window, it only went down 1/2 way

No Idea, Ebay? im sure a vendor can help.

& Blow Dryer, till the adhesive loosens up, you can wiggle them while theyre on, sign of loosening. and they dental floss.

Also lost in my thoughts on 4500k HIDS from DDM
Or Sylvania Bulbs. IS the mounting of a Ballast worth it ?

And i need to go MoaarLow like now. 1.5 months is the longest time ive everrrr driven a tonka truck vehicle, she needs to be dropped asap!!!! Might do the spring route until i have the funds for coils and camber kits.

Anyone on springs or recently switched to coils?

Hey there. Just got the same car myself, but an 09 certified used.

Can you post a picture of your tint with the 35%? I had 20% on my accord but I don't think I want to go that dark. For some reason, these type of cars look better without tint sometimes I think. But, I don't know how to live without tint, lol.

Also, since the car is like three years old, do you guys think it's OK to debadge? I debaged my accord right away, but since the letters have been on there for quite a while I'm afraid to take them off and then see an outline in the paint. Thoughts?

Lastly -- where did you get the LEDs?

Oh, and don't do springs. You'll regret it. Biggest mistake I made with my accord. You'll get springs, spend maybe $400 with an install, and then down the line you'll have to replace the shocks, which will cost you another $400-$500 with labor. So, you pay now or pay later. I would just do coils. I'm trying not to drop the car and put rims, even though it's so tempting. Trying to keep the car stock for as long as possible. Until the bug really bites me, lol.

That would depend on the type of springs/manufacturer, mileage, and condition of your car. If you get springs that match the stock valving then it will last a long time. Possibly close to as long as if you were on stock springs. If your car is new or low in mileage/great condition then springs will be just fine. Get cheap springs that have no R&D and the shocks will blow as you drive down the street.

There are lots of members on springs with over 2 years of use, no issues.
