I could've went for a dyno tune w/ blacktrax performance but that only accounts for WOT not street driving.
oh yeah that's what I was asking...

when will he start tuning cam angle? yeah it does seem like it's taking a long time

Dunno when hes going to start but got another calibration back. Feels the same as Rev0.1.5, vtec still at 5800 but for some reason it feels like it pulls way harder then before.

Im excited to see the difference between your tune and the one that Optimus has provided. Im still struggling with with 1st to 2nd gear and weird idle.

I even had a dream that I opened my hood and oil was everywhere. I thought I blew up my engine. Then I woke up and made eggs.

He started working on cam advance is one reason why you still have a long way to go and a lot of data logging to do but it is worth it

Yeh I think he just started with tuning the high cam. New calibration came with 3 maps. He told me he didn't need datalogs for daily driving anymore just WOT 2nd gear logs from the exact same location. He also said something about comparing these 3 maps he gave me. Anyone know what the difference between these 3?

Nope. I'm guessing its to tune for cam angle. Vtec feels really choppy for some reason.

You know, I just realized this... the pipe is off...

I could easily ship this out to someone.

And on top of that embarrassment, I lost the PM about the individual that was going to buy mine.

If you and I talked about this in the past, see this, and want it still, please PM me.

otherwise, I'll list another in the classifieds, and we'll see what happens.

Not the final tune. Power drops @ 5500 need to be smoothed out. 177 HP 165 TQ on this map.

^^ Yea i know it's not the final tune. Just initial impressions.

It's very smooth though compared to Optimus's tune, no more idle problems also which is nice.

^ One of the reasons why I decided to go etune instead of a dyno tune is because of how smooth it runs. Its calibrated for daily driving not just WOT tunes. Yeh I know u can replicate daily driving on a dyno but it doesn't account for the daily driving conditions like weather, change in temp, uphill and downhill elevation changes. I might not get as much HP/TQ compaired to a dyno but how often do u actually use that power? and i highly doubt u can even notice the difference from a street tune and a dyno tune on WOT. I noticed alot more low end power compared to optimus tune and close to 0 knock. Plus it raised my gas mileage.

The calibration that I'm running (the base tune from Hondata) the numbers are:
Max HP: 184
Max TQ: 164

This was from the same E-dyno program you are using dimefeng. We have the same mods right? Resonator delete and K&N drop in filter?

When it is all done I will pitch in 50% on a dyno base pull to compare Vits Edyno to a real dyno (usually about a $100 for three pulls) I think the Edyno reads low on our cars it's right on the money for the civic's

Back when Bao was doing his tune with VIT he asked for a datalog from me, so I gave him my datalog and he threw it up for comparison. Im the one in red, Bao is in purple.

It didn't work once I got to 385 or so WHP the wheel spin would make the e dyno go crazy so we never did anymore after that, it was at 12 PSI I think up to 16-18 PSI now

Yeh it's the same eDyno program. I do my wot pulls on the same road and same exact location. iCrap was right on the mods. It should show in the calibration info. No new calibration till prob the 24-25th cuz vit is on a tuning trip.

Well I found my last Edyno looks like my wheel spin started at 330 WHP and 5000 RPM, that is when it just starts getting fun LOL, I really need to get it on a dyno and see what the numbers are, been a little scared after the last time I was on the dyno

My car is at the body shop getting repaired. Someone hit and run my car while I was as work. Got 3 tunes back from vit but dont have access to my car to datalog and test, but ill post them anyways. I'm pretty sure one of these are close enough to the final tune because he only wants WOT pulls on these 3.

So I'm getting some extra money out of insurance and debating to go with either options.
Option 1: CF hood, Sport Bumper, $200-400 in pocket.
Option 2: Fix the OEM hood, Sport Bumper, and coilovers or koni yellows since I got tein springs aready.
Option 3: Fix Hood, Repair OEM bumper, Sell my XXR's and get me some Volk's or BBS.

Open to more suggestions. $2,500 limit.

Option 2 coil overs, drop it a little more before you get new wheels and see how it looks, dam I want a sports bumper so bad, still saving $$$

Do the one that gets you closer to the end goal.

Now that I have a DD, I may become a bit more crazy with mine... after I get the car back and running, the next thing will be extended studs, brakes, and wheels.... Then, save back up pennies for a full block build like Utah.

Then, we need to do a cross country cruise...

After that, I think I'm going to go junkyard searching for a wrx or sti drivetrain for my DD....
