Facelift Bootlid Silver Garnish?

Hey Acurazine!

i have a prefacelift cu2 and i was wondering how to go about getting the silver garnish on the boot of a facelift cu2 into mine? anyone have part numbers?

anyone know whats required to install it? i've seen a few people done it and want to do it myself!

I've never personally seen it done. One alternative would be to swap the trunk lid with someone that is willing to trade.

thats what i thought as well but facelift is a different white than prefacelift, so i'll need to respray it as well

i've seen someone just install, just wondering if anyone knows how to do it!

There are 4 or so clips that snap that thing in. There are holes in the metal of the trunk and they just press in. So if you do get it for a 09-10 model you wouldn't have those holes so you would need to 3M tape it.

I forgot about the color change. You can take my idea and throw it in the garbage. haha

Nope i wouldn't, i'll probably try call my local honda dealer


thanks for that opboarding! its something i've always wanted to do haha, just thought it was moulded into the bootlid for some reason

yeah prototype haha >< the bootlid + respray would cost me $1k around, not worth it considering nothing is wrong with mine haha

Oh sweet so its only $116.31 shipped to me ! yay, might be doing this soon, but yeah i saw that ebay one and i didnt like it at all haha


is that part number for the non-tech version? i need the non-camera version
