Trouble with HTC Inspire + Bluetooth Audio!
I just picked up my 2009 TSX 6speed M/T (Non-Tech) a few days ago. I got my phone paired up to the hands free link and was able to make a call. But when I try to set it up via Bluetooth Audio I get no sound from the car. It just plays from my phone speaker. I am using an HTC Inspire.
Has anyone else had trouble pairing the Audio? Any tips or suggestions on what I may be doing wrong?

I have an inspire and it works fine, but it does act retarded every now and then. Spotify app sucks balls. The iPhone integration is so much better sadly as the song info from spotify and pandora shows up on the car display. I don't want to go back to iphone but I just might if the iPhone 5 is announced with a bigger screen and complete iOS overhaul.
Chuckee - Media streaming needs to be enabled in the bt profile. Are you referring to a setting in the car? I set it to bluetooth audio in the car but no sound came out.
Iamitman - I don't want to have to switch back to the iPhone either, but I agree if the 5 has a bigger screen, better hardware, and an improved iOS.. I might have to.
Mine were both enabled by default. You might want to check if you have the option. If not, then there might be another problem.
When the phone is connected for media, the phone's name appears on the car display under the words "BLUETOOTH AUDIO"
You need to turn the volume up on both the phone and the car.
The setting is on the phone. i go into the bt profile and hit Options. There are two checkboxes. One for phone and one for media.

Actually, I have a galaxy s2. My android version is 2.3.5. I would think it's the same across android. Is it not?
HTC uses Sense 2.x.x or something.. Each Droid phone has it's own version of an OS. I was thinking if I rooted my phone to ICS (Ice Cream Sandwich) or some other version OS it might make a difference. I will have to look into this and test it.
