Resistors?

Has anyone installed LED switchbacks for turn signals as well as the load resistors? I looked under the hood and it seems like there is just no space to install resistors. So if anyone has done it already and found a good place to mount it, some pictures or explanation would be great.

I put mine here. Easy to get to and out of the way. I dremmeled the screws to shorten them so that they wouldnt stick up so much. I knew there was room for the nuts between the hood and lip because above them was a bolt that was already there that stuck up a little.

Ahhhh I didn't even think of that. And while I'm at it someone said that the wires were Blue and Black for the left side and Green and Black for the right side. Is this correct??

That sounds right, but I dont completely remember. I tapped the wrong two wires the first time and I knew because it hyperblinked. So I just undid one of the wires and tapped the other one and then it blinked fine.

SSjoeboe, you should do a DIY for this including parts and pics! This seems to be a subject that a lot of people on the boards have a problem with. I know that when I get switchbacks, and it hyperflashes, i want to know how to install resistors!

Will do. Easy problem to avoid though if you buy the version Kowloon had. They adjusted automatically... Now I have to install the resistors. Hopefully they will arrive by this weekend, and I'll post the DIY. On that note, my 5k LED fog lights should be arriving with my resistors

^ Yeah I was planning on that but there's always that "what if" hahaha and it'll still be informative to other members.

Oooo, LED fogs, can't wait for that
Any reason you chose LED>HID?

Well... I figured I would save myself the hassle of installing ballasts and finding a place to mount them. From what I have read HID's are brighter than LED's or at least have a farther projection distance but my OEM fogs don't really make anything brighter to begin with. So LEDs seemed the way to go. Easy install and I get rid of the piss yellow color I have now. I really just want the 5k color more than the functionality (even though anything will be an upgrade from OEM)

Yeah, LED would be only for looks. But if you really have no use for fogs, you went the right way! Can't wait for pics.
