No Ipod display on 2010 TSX Tech

When I plug in my Ipod or my USB drive, the song/playlists do not appear on the screen. It says "EXTENSION" on the screen. The music plays however it starts at the first song in my entire library.

Any ideas?

Not every generation and model of iPod is compatable with the TSX's system. The owner's manual provides a list of what will work with it. It sounds like your particular iPod is one of those that is not compatable.

I got it to work. Turns out the navigation disc in the trunk was defective. Got a new under warranty and now it works perfectly.

How does the navi disc being defective affect the ipod displaying songs?

I guess it controlled the software for the whole system. It finally worked and I didn't ask questions.
