It really sucks to have to just keep scrolling down and down and down on the screen to find the music you want when using a USB drive.

Anyone know of an easier way?

I already had to merge my music together under artists because having album folders just made a million more folders instead of having them inside an artist folder.

 

I'm having the same issue. I just switched from an iPhone (which integrated beautifully) to an HTC EVO 4G, with an mp3 interface that is making me want to pull my hair out.

Right now, all of my music is displayed by the album name, which is clearly unhelpful.

I'm wary to mess with the way the music is saved, because that's how the phone is saving it, and I don't want to mess up my phone's playback abilities...

I transferred the exact same music/files that I had in the iPhone, so theoretically they should be saved/named in the same way, but the EVO displays it totally differently.

If anyone has the answer, I will love you FOREVER.

 

for your solution, Summer, you should just use the bluetooth audio output to play songs off your EVO.

You don't have to use it as a usb drive, like I'm using. I'm using a usb flash drive to play my music
