iPhone4 Doesnt Always Connect on '12 Tsx Tech

Curious to see if its only me, When i plug in my phone it doesnt always play, I can press FM and then go Back to iPOD and still wont work. If i disconnect it and re connect it it will work the second time around. Is there a reason why it isnt playing on the first connect at all times? Am i doing something wrong?

Also ive noticed my AUX doesnt work, I tried using the AUX instead of the USB and it wouldnt work. Small things like this bother me. This is why i bought a brand new car a 2012 with 400 miles shouldnt have these issues!

I haven't tried that yet...mainly cause I play everything off my iPhone through the BlueTooth connection. May have to try that and see. Do you also have your Bluetooth on and connected for the HandsFreeLink? I have that problem in my Truck(aftermarket BT radio). If I turn off the BT - not desirable - it works every time.

I used to have that problem as well and but now i use the bluetooth audio and charge it via usb cable (car charger)

1) it plays great quality over bluetooth

2) if i receive a call, it uses the navi and uses the bluetooth connection

3) you can select which output you would like to use (Handsfree, Speaker, iPhone)

4) you can use siri flawlessly.

the only problem i get with siri, is that it activates but it doesn't to the (booop booop) til 10 seconds. but i've learned if you hold down the home button, siri pops up, then exit out, and then hold the home button again, it works instantly. just that first use is always weird.

Through BT it works great I used it about twice and that was it. I might just start using the Cord for charging as well and just BT my music !

i always stream mine through bluetooth, but i dont have nav, so scrolling through songs on the car is a bitch. i charged my phone through a car charger. if you plug it in through the USB, and your bluetooth is on, it wont play because you can stream while its plugged in, but it tries to play over bluetooth so USB is also quiet. just go into music and click the little box thingy next to fast forward and choose dock connector when you plug it in

I was wondering how that would work. There is no BT display of songs. My prius would display them but not the TSX. I have thought I may use the USB cable just for that feature...besides my battery issues are horrific any ways on my 4S.

i just use the actual phone to pick songs, im used to it so its easier and faster. i also have playlists and you can skip songs using the steering wheel, so i dont use the phone to change music much. the only way to get it to display is to put the songs onto your hardrive in the car, or to connect through USB. you can use voice control through the car. just hold the home button on the iphone for a few seconds, it should go through the car speakers. the first time you use it in a while has a delay of about 5 seconds. just wait till you hear the tone through the car. you can call someone in your phonebook, or tell it to play an artist/album/playlist. pretty cool
