You might also attempt waiting to connect initially until the engine is running. I leave my bluetooth off until the engine is started, then I wait for it to connect.

Solved all my glitchy issues regarding connection. Sometimes the HFL module doesn't seem to work and I have to turn it off then on again.

 

Isn't there a TSB for this?

 

There is for when the headunit is non responsive. The fix is to replace the headunit with a new part number.

 

The TSB was also for the HFL unit spontaneously losing pairing. My '12 did that and the HFL unit fixed that right up.

 

Can you tell me which TSB to look for?
