2010 tsx audio/clock display
Audio info and clock dropped out a little ove a week ago and would occasionally reappear sporadically - all or partial HVAC info was always visible. The display is partially present. For a while the audio info would partially appear, then de
rop out - still no clock. Now, the clock becomes visible first - when I chooses to appear. Then, the audio, when the display is working.
I'm still thinking:
1) faulty components (all audio stuff was replaced in June by dealer)
2) connectors
3) board(s)
4) fuses
the car is going in Thurs for diagnostics. Any hot ideas or other suggestions?
Thanks!
Sorry about the typos. My device won't let me go back to fix them!

1) faulty components (all audio stuff was replaced in June by dealer)- potentially
2) connectors- have you checked them?
3) board(s)- take a look
4) fuses- have you checked them?
two ways to figure this out...you start by checking fuses, then you proceed to take apart the dash/stereo and check at loose connections and then proceed to take the a look at boards.
We can tell you all kinds of ideas or other suggestions but you've had a week since you posted your original post and we haven't even heard you say that you at least checked the fuses.
seems that you aren't comfortable in checking any of this items above.. pay the stealership the diagnostic fee and get it taken care of that way.

I drove it to see what it would do. Over the week I saw many different displays: HVAC only, just clock & HVAC, just audio & HVAC, clock, audio, & HVAC.
Everything's been displaying since yesterday, but it comes on in steps. HVAC is always visible, clock comes on, then audio - which is kind of weird. As for fuses, aren't they just binary?
Everything that I!ve been reading makes me suspect solder joint(s) and it has been a long time since I used a soldering iron.
I have no plans to rip out anything myself. I do have an appointment for diagnostics, but since things are mostly ok, I am considering canceling and making appointment if the whole thing starts getting crazy again.
Your thoughts?

Dealer took everything apart and didn't charge me. Fuses & connectors are ok. Display misbehaved for them, too. they believe that there's some liquid trapped from the spill last spring. They said to give it more time, since it seems to be improving ...
