Weird sound? Needs advice

So I have a 2010 tsx lowered on tein ss coils. This morning while driving to work I notice a sound coming from my right side. Seems like I only hear it when I go over bumps. But I don't hear it on every bump. Cruising on a smooth street I won't hear it. I can't pin point where on the right side it's coming from. Any idea what it might be?

maybe your bump stop is upside down?

is it a knock or rubbing sound? front or back side? check for loose bushings and endlinks or bump stop like defcon stated. also check the top nut on ur shock/strut assembly, make sure its tight. ive heard of ppl not properly tightening that top nut.

I would say knocking sound. Seems to be somewhere on the right side. I'll check the top strut bolts in the engine bay.Possible to get loose from driving over bumps?

very possible. youll need an allen wrench (dont remember the size. 8mm maybe) for the very top of the strut. hold that in place while tightening the nut. it would be no bueno if the shop/person who installed them did not do that.

Wierd thing is I drive home going 80mph and I didn't hear the sound. And I didn't hear it going over speed bumps . I'll have to remove my bumper it could be the ballast of the his fogs I installed.

Jgarcia looks like its a nut not a Allen wrench. You are talking about the nuts and bolts in the engine bay right?

look at the fourth pic on this thread. you may have a black rubber piece on top where the allen wrech would go. i should also mention the pic is of stechs and you have coils. not sure if that makes a difference.
