Has anyone added Canada washer tank to their us spec Tsx? The Canadian spec has 2.2 more liters of capacity than us spec and low fluid level. Does anyone know if wiring harness in us models has the plug for low washer level ? If anyone has any suggestions or ideas responces will be appreciated .

 

What you're trying to do is more trouble than it's worth. Just refill the fluid more frequently if you use the windshield washer often. If you use so much fluid that you refill too often, 2.2 liters won't do much for you either.

 

I guess what I should have asked if anyone knows if the US models have the connections in the wiring harness for the low fluid light/message.

I live in the northeast and in the winter the roads are salted fequently. Washer fluid gets used like fuel. And when you run out its not fun. Acura should have it on its US models as most all cars do today.

 

Interesting question...I would imagine that the connections are there. The problem will be locating them.

I don't think he's confirming that the MIL doesn't say it, I believe he's asking.

 

At least for 2011 U.S. models, the MID doesn't indicate low washer fluid.

For the small cost of a larger tank and a wiring harness, you'd think that Acura would just equalize the U.S. specs with the Canadian model.

Maybe it's to save about 5 pounds of carrying weight.
