Basically popped off the top of the rusted bolt. Any advice on how to get these stock tips off?

damn that sucks, I hope you can finish the mod without too much effort. I just bought my Ap2 tips also and I cant wait. Hopefully no rusted bolts for me cause my car is a 2012 haha. Post up pics when your done! Theres one other guy on here with AP2 tips..cant remember who..

In for pics as well. I always see stock S2K with these and I never understood why people switch to them in their Honda's and Acuras lol

I still don't see it haha, on that 2G IS it looks like OEM+ if anything. The 2G IS with the F-Sport Exhaust looks nicer too me thinks

 

If you see these tips in person you will be quiet amazed. From just a test fit over oem they fill up the gap really nicely.

I have seen them in person, I still dont see it haha but beauty is in the eye of the beholder so I guess Ima leave it at that. How wide are they newayz? 4.5"?

They look nice, but not something I would do. There's something about it that doesnt flow right to me...

 

What are the other options that would flow right for you?

 

Are s2k tips larger in diameter than civic si's?

 

I think they are about the same. But the inside is darker which is the diff

 

I haven't really looked into tips yet but I prefer a more round tip as to that of the s2k's oval. So far I like those 4" Magnaflow tips that another member got

 

I like those also 35121 but they are 7 inches long. Would stick out way too long

 

Jeroplex has them and they seem to stick out about the same as the S2k's

 

He has them on new magnaflow mufflers also. But they look great

yup i have the 35121 tips. i had the shop adjust how far they stick out to get it as close as what the stock one was

 

Grigio09: On other forum, thought I heard you bought sport bumper...? Wanting to know how these these AP2 tips fit the sport bumper...

Also... how hard was it to remove the stock tips? Both my bolts were rusted.
