I had them on my 2g tsx but I removed them because I thought they looked tacky on the CBP. The body lines look good enough themselves.

Me, too.

Mine was traded for with another dealer and it arrived with tan pinstripes and a $200 price tag for them to boot. Upon my request, both the stripes and the extra cost were removed.

we, 3G TL'ers usually delete the pinstripe.

I should have done that too but I didn't think about it. I was already getting my tsx for a steal. They wouldn't budge on an automatic with 6000 miles but I got like $6000 off on a brand new manual(what I wanted.) But I took off the stripes with some goo gone and elbow grease.

Agree - pin stripes look funny/tacky on the 2nd gen TSX, although not as bad as the faux wood panels on wagons from the 1970s and 1980s or the recent PT Cruiser.

ew tan? no way. and i wouldny put it on black either. i have grigio and i was thinking to put black pinstripes. black would be very subtle on the grigio paint. no nearly as noticable as a tan color. i dont know if my dealer even has that option. i never had the choice to and didnt seen any other 2g tsxs with it.

my 06 tsx has painted-on pinstripes-(black and gray) Personally I like them better than the decal pinstripes.
