sweet birthday huh? haha. anyways. I bought my first set of lights at ijdmtoy.com. THey were quite pricey and the liscense plates lights didn't look as good as I want them to. I JUST made a purchase from superbrightled.com last night for a 3 trial pairs. 1 is the white 90 degree viewing angle LED and the other is the 120 degree viewing angle because the lights tilt out and not down on the 09 tsx. I also made a purchase of the LED that has one in the middle and 4 shooting out on the sides. I'm sure you'll find it in there. If you go on IJDM, the bulbs that I bought were the T10 or T15's, dome lights were the luxor package.. hope that helps

Guys, I need your help! I purchased all of the interior led lights, and only the two front door lights work! Nothing else turns on! I have tried everything: reversing the bulb, uninstalling and installing the lights several times, I even installed the original bulbs, and those didn't work. I don't know what to do.

I haven't checked. Do you think it could be a blown fuse?

hey I had a problem with mine too. My brother changed it and it blew the panel fuse or something. Change everything back to the regular and take it back to the dealer. Tell them that your door panel lights aren't working. They should order a part. Over night the car and they'll fix it. Your OEM bulbs dont work either you say? that sucks man.. But yeah.. my dealer switched it back under warranty. They're really nice guys at Serramonte at least.

just got all my interior lights and they look great! the only problem I am having is with the rear map light... the bulb seems to be to long/thick and is not fitting properly... is anyone else having this problem? Anyway to fix the problem or am I just going to have to find a different sized bulb?

jp831, I had the same issue. Got it to fit but had to bend the contacts a bit.

Question

Tried installing the 36mm 3175 High Power LED (HID White) Festoon Bulb in the rear dome light, and it just too big. The LED rectange doesn't fit between the contacts. And even if it did, the bulb contacts are too long. I think it needs to be 31mm in length.

Any one with ideas how to modify the holder or where to get the correct LED bulb?

Alright, I had a blown fuse, the dealership fixed it under warranty. Now everything works and looks great!!!

mskchui, I used the same bulbs for the front map lights and rear dome light.

yea, either 31mm 3022 3175 High Power LED (White) Festoon Bulb or 31mm 3022 3175 6 SMD LED (White) Festoon Bulb should fit the rear dome light.

I am having the same problem with the rear dome. The one listed above does not fit. I will just order another one of the front map light bulbs rather then try to bend any of the contacts.

Very easy installation overall with a great end result but I did have one minor problem. When I was pulling out the driver side door bulb it came loose and the housing fell into the door well. I have been trying to fish it through the opening but its not looking good. I have been using a small needle nose to get it close to the opening but it isn't enough to get it "snapped" back into place. Any suggestions on how I can get this back and set in place so I can put the last door bulb in?

hey... thats exactly what happend to me... if you can... try taking apart the door panel... it'll be easier to pop it back in.. if you keep picking at it like I did.. you'll get a blown fuse.. but if you can get it out with a needle, toothpick, etc.. pull it out..then twist it back into the grooves.. shouldnt be too hard... the hard part was figuring out whether to pull or push on the bulb... apparently, i pushed =/

I also pushed accidentally and now I am in this mess. I will try pulling it back in but If that doesn't work out I guess I have to take the door panel off. How involved is that going to be and can I just do it a little to snap the piece back in?

Does anyone know if the H11-WHP DRL LED bulb from superbrightleds.com would work for the fogs on the 09tsx? If so, I plan on picking up a pair along with the wedge license plate lights.

Thanks in advance

I have the wedge white bulbs from superbrightleds for my 04'TSX for the license plate, and they are quite bright, almost a perfect match to the lexus ones...you won't be disappointed...

My Service Manual shows that the Glove Box Light is already an LED.

Also, the Driver's and Passenger's Foot Well Lights are already LEDs.

Turn on the Parking Lights and leave the door open, then look for a BLUE LED above the Brake Pedal. Approx. same location for the Passenger Side LED.

Too bad they are Blue and very dim.

Well, after looking at the Circuit Diagram (Service Manual - a good buy for $170), the Footwell LEDs and the Glove Box LED are all driven from the "Dash Lights Brightness Controller".
So those LEDs are always on, when the Headlights are on. A brighter LED in the Footwell area might be distracting, while driving a night.

The Service Manual says to remove the entire Glove Box in order to replace that LED and to be careful because the Passenger's Air Bag is in that area.

So, it's probably better to leave that LED alone.

I wonder why they are that dim. I mean, if it's too bright it is distracting, but I figure they could be 2x as bright at least.

I've completely did my interior, excep thte vanity mirrors - I've never used them, so why bother? I'll take some pics, but at night, the interior looks like it glows

Okay I'm aiming for the IS250 look.

Here are the ones I bought from ebay. Model name is in the first page. They are VERY bright. A bit too bright to my taste. IS250 one is a bit dimmer.

1 sec exposure.

Auto.

Here are the Frost Lense LED from Autolumination. Apparently they sent me two different colors. I'm going to send them an email about this. Originally I asked for 2 white frost but I got 1 blue and 1 white. However due to their mistake I get to see the blue which I think it's very similar to the IS250!! It's dimmer than the ebay one above. I forgot to do the 1 sec exposure to show the true brightness and color (sorry....). So just imagine it look more brighter.

Auto.

Closer shot.
