Can anyone point me in the right direction for a tutorial on removing the grille? I have a big ding/gash on the bottom of #3 below. I really just want to replace that piece-any advice?

 

Since you found that illustration, you're on the right track. Look for the instructions on how to install the front sport bumper. If you look on Honda's e-store, you should find the instructions there.

Some other vendors of Acura parts may also provide installation instructions, so that's another option.

 

How bad/deep is the ding? Have you considered a paintmatch or just a repaint of it?

 

That sucks that I have to take off the entire front bumper just to get to the grille!

I can take a picture of the gash later today and post it. I'm pretty sure I wont be able to just repaint it.

 

I just bought an '09 tsx yesterday. It came with a gas in the shiny part number 2 in the illustration above. Where is the best place to get that replacement part? Thanks in advance.

 

I have the same problem. I am just looking to change the PART 2. Do I still need to the the front bumper out ?

i feel like i've seen a tsb for that part of the grill, peeling, dings, etc. CHeck out the 2g garage.
