how do I paint my calipers?

Scene it done, heard it's easy, but have never tried it. Im referring to the front but traditionally do you paint all four? I want to paint them red like wannabe brembo, im assuming i just remove them, separate metal parts, degrease, and paint with some high temp paint?
i tried search but only found a thread bashing modesto so please have mercy! lol
does acura have nicer stock calipers for the tsx (v6) like the ones that say 'acura' on it?
this dude in another forum just used painters tape to tape off the parts, is this an ok method
thanks all!

you could remove the caliper and do it or you can be like me and just get a brake caliper spray paint (i chose black, since I used to have red on my old car and was just ricey imo) used painter's plastic to shield off the fender area and rotors. used tiny crumbled pieces of paper and also painters tape to shield off the brake pads and parts of the brake i didn't want to paint. Cleaned with degreaser and soap and water.

and just did many coats of paint with the rattle can (first coat will be thicker) and then wait 20 mins, spray again etc. I did this for about 4 hours since I had time and a garage. I left it overnight to dry but it was pretty much dry within coats already.

the ones that say 'acura' on it is the 3G TL-Type S model and I I believe the previous gen RL had it too

This is what I used
Instead of spraying the calipers you have to paint it with brush I preferred that method

on my previous car, i used caliper paint but didn't prep well so it started chipping off after a few thousand miles. Even with a spray can, you could do a good job its all about the prepping.

Yeah as for springs, I've been on S-techs over 40K and still no issues

How would the fake Brembo covers look over the calipers instead of painting them? Is there a safety risk in putting them on?

Do you guys think that painting the Calipers Red on my Milano Red G2 would look any good or is that too much red?

I (with ecko508) painted my 2011 calipers black AND added the white Acura decals. I highly recommend you do it slowly but it will look awesome. Especially if you have aftermarket rims where you can see through the spokes easier than the stock ones.

Here is mine:

If you're painting your calipers, it's really easy to remove the caliper and brake shoes to make the job much better looking, and it only takes an extra 10 minutes per corner. It's generally two bolts that hold the caliper on, remove the claiper, then the pads will pop out. Don't stretch or twist up your brake line, or step on the brake pedal...

Most people will just paint the entire caliper without masking off the pads or removing them - with a little more time invested it will look OEM (as long as you don't paint them red or yellow).
