all it is, is a button that should just plug right in, biggest hassle would be the disassembley of the dash itself to get to the button

yeah i figure once the dash is off its easy but i havent found any easy place to unsettle the dash and i flipped through the pdfs for the tsx online (some of the oem install instructions) and none of them come near the dash so its kind of uncharted territory :x

normally a easy place to hook things, is at the bottom of the panel, but remember on Honda alot of times, you have to work further back before you can get to where you need, such as removing the arm rest/center console first

Right here KillerG. Sorry, somehow missed this thread completely. I do not have the red hazard switch installed in my car, but like friesm2000 mentioned up top, it's quite complicated as the dash has to be removed.

Give me a couple of days, will report back whether I locate any info or not.

Well I have just gone through the Honda/Acura Service site, this is quite a big job, not recommended by regular DIY. If you want to tackle this, subscribe to Honda Tech Service, can get it for $10 for 3 days express service, it gives step by step instructions. Here's a brief summary below.

The hazard light switch is located on the audio/nav switch panel, to get that part out:

1) Got to the accessories installation site, download the pdf file for removal of interior trim because you will first need to driver's center trim, then passenger's dashboard trim and then the passenger's center trim.

2) Remove the climate control panel which is held on by 4 screws

3) Then finally, remove the audio/nav switch panel which is held on by six (6) clips, pull from driver side first then hold on to the center part to pull remaining part out.

4) the hazard switch is held on by two screws, disconnect the wire first.

Ok you are gonna wanna go to the techinfo Honda website and sign up for an account and purchase access... you will see the interior panel removal guide and you can proceed from there. I wish you luck good forum member, for it will be an intrepid journey unlike any ever taken before. Take pics if you decide to go through with it.

I actually want to do this too but i am not even gonna consider it until the summer because it would involve rolling my car out of my garage and working inside for an extended period of time and thats just not possible right now. IF i am in the mood for it still in june i will definitely do a DIY

Share the details on the install man!

I assume you'd have to get the silver console trim pieces off, as well as the shifter surround and cup holders. After that, the lower cubby / DVD player...

Do you have to remove the entire radio / HVAC stack, or can you just remove the HVAC controls and get behind there without removing the radio?

It's an Acura... doesn't need a hazard button in it at all.
