I think car looks good. I like the LED's (honestly reminds me of what Audi does) but like the look. Wheels are nice, definetely would go for a drop. Nice job man!

Everytime I see 19's on our cars I'm pushed towards that rim size now
those pics make the 19s look "small"...could it only be because it isn't lowered?

I looked at 20" but they came just in 9.5 width and I didnt know if they would fit in the front.
19" are good enough for me

I am just learning about this stuff too. I test fited some 20x8.5's and the offset was so low that it was rubbing on the back fenders. Now I know that if you're going to go 8.5 and up to go with a higher offset.

dude, I have no idea but I can tell you that the back wheels were about an inch and a half to two inches outside of the fender.

.5 inch is 13mm
1 inch is 25 mm
1.5 inch is 38mm

you can always shave the back side of the rim to bring it inwards

hmm, let me ask you something bro. Do I have this right that if the offset is low that it will stick out farther and if it is high it will be closer to the rotor of the car?

IMO, you're correct.

our stock rims are +55 offset

if you get a rim that is +65, then it will go inward.

if you add 10mm spacer to the stock rim thats +55, it will stick out farther and the new offset would be +45. (55-10=45 offset)

the lower the offset, the rim sticks outward
the higher the offset, the rim sticks inward

its weird.

someone correct me if im wrong.

if you make a mistake, there's two ways to adjust the offset
you can always add spacers, if youre rims are sunken in
you can always shave(CNC milling) the backside of the rim, if your rims are sticking out

i did my research by asking the shop owner, asking members that have flushed setups, looked at pictures and tire setups, and a visual diagram where you can manipulate the offsets

go to this site. and plug in the offsets i mentioned. youll see the rim adjust inward and outward

Ok, that makes sense then. So when you gave numbers above depending on how many inches the wheel sticks farther than the fender, 35, for examle would be -35 and so on right? Otherwise, +35 would be going inward. I think I got it now. Thanks bro for clearing this up for me.

So my other rims on my car are about +50 or so. it's almost flush with the fender but is about an inch and a half in the back off and about an inch in the front. I've been thinking about spacers but I hear too many bad things about them. Otherwise, I'm going to get some more rims, 20/8.5 with offset of +44 would do the trick I think.

Nice look. I see more and more guys are rocking the replica Type S.

It'll look a lot less bulky when you get the rims on there.

This might be a dumb question but why do people switch rims during winter?

dude your car looks sexy. you think it'd look weird/ugly if I get the rear bumber only? really don't want to risk hitting bumps and guards. Came from lowered EVO and Z32 and it was a hassle.
