Ive searched and i cant find any answers. Do i have to take the front bumper off to change the HID low beams? Ive got the cover off on the passenger side, but cant figure out the rest. The plug wont twist, unless im twisting it wrong.

 

nope, i know pyro or someone is gonna say its not in the owner's menu. but it's in my owner's menu i just checked it.

 

Derp, its just held in by one of those bulb clamps, get that off and you should be able to slide the bulb out

 

Just take off the bumper and take out your headlights that's what I ended up doing. took about 20 minutes in total. Trying to squeeze my fat arm through the fender took an hour attempt just to get the bulb out.

 

^ thats exactly what I did I was able to get the passenger bulb out but the driver to me is impossible and also theres a big chance on damaging the bulbs trying to fit it back since you can't see so removing ur bumper is the way to go

 

I looked in the ownerts manual, and it says do not attempt to change the low beam bulbs because of the voltage. It shows how to change the low beam bulbs for the canadian model that does not have hids though.

So it looks like i have to take the bumper off to change the bulbs? Is there a diy how to do that?
