Update

Hey guys,

I got some answers to some of the questions posted previously.

Shipping
First of all, shipping. As I mentioned before, this company deals frequently with international orders so shipping won't be an issue. Final shipping quotes will obviously depend on where you are but I was told it will range from $250-300 (Canadian dollars) for the kit. I'm assuming the shipping will be less for individual pieces, especially the front and sides since they are skirts (unlike the rear which is a full bumper). Again, as I mentioned before, even with the shipping costs this is still a bargain. For reference, Ling's in the UK, which would have arguably been one of the best sources for this kit has this kit shipped for $3500 so we're saving over $1000 here.

Color
The kit comes pre-painted and OEM color-matched from the factory and with all necessary mounting hardware. You will need to give me your color code when ordering. Since these kits are pre-painted you really have no additional costs especially if you plan on installing them yourself. Replica kits, on the other hand, will require some prep work to get the finish right and will require paint at additional cost.

I will be PM'ing all interested with pricing.

They do sell the front skirt in Australia, but not Type S/GT side skirt or rear bumper.

No, the grille is separate. Check out the thread by HeelToe on his replica Sports Grille.

The front skirt is mounted directly below the stock front bumper.

Update: Feb 22, 2011

Ok guys so looks like the window for this order is the end of this month so there are a few more days to get in on this with me. If you're sitting on the fence or have any questions shoot me a PM as soon as possible.

To the interested members who have PM'd me already, don't worry--we've garnered enough interest for this to happen.

A reminder of a few points that have come up:

- The kit is a full, 4-piece kit consisting of front and side skirts and rear bumper replacement.

- The kit comes pre-painted from Honda and ready to install with all necessary mounting hardware so you don't have any additional costs like paint and install (if you install yourself).

- International shipping isn't a problem. PM me zip codes for a quote but is should be reasonable, somewhere between $250-300.

- We can split orders so if you are only interested in one of the pieces let me know.

People get on this! Is this a 1 time thing or if more people show down the line would there be another group buy possibly?

Obviously I can't speak for what may or may not happen in the future. All I know is that I'm saving on the shipping over from Japan right now because of the bulk purchase and I'm pretty sure someone else would have to organize something similar to get the same savings.

Shipping Estimate Update

Hey guys,

To smooth this out a bit if you're going to PM me for a shipping estimate please give me a full address with street number, name, city and zip code.

If you're not comfortable giving your actual address you can use something nearby for the time being and give me the real address if you later decide you want to order.

Update Feb 24

Ok guys so we're coming down to the wire here.

A couple things have come up. As I mentioned before, we have enough interest for this to happen so if there are any last minute stragglers then PM me as soon as possible if you want to ensure you're on the March shipment (arrival ETA late March, early April). Payments are being taken now and orders are in the process of being placed.

A couple people had to back out for various reasons so we could still use one order of a front lip if anyone is interested in just the front.

The shop told me an exact shipping cost is difficult to determine until the kit arrives here in North America since the size and shape of the boxes varies among different kits and sometimes manufacturers can cram in a few different pieces into one box. Apparently Honda is very careful and uses a lot of packaging. Again, I've been told shipping averages $250-300 for bodykits.

Thanks to everyone who posted here and I can't wait for the kit to arrive!

Thanks again to all you guys for your interest and helping me make this thing happen...what started out as just an idea became a reality and I'll have the pics up soon in a separate thread once I get the darn sides on.

BTW, I'm still getting inquiries about this kit and the various pieces even though the deal is technically over. Please PM me for the details from this point on. Thanks.

Finally taking delivery of my kit end of next week.

I ordered a bit late and was expecting it mid-June. I'm sure the earthquake in Japan delayed delivery.
